EPL Top Scorers

The disgraceful and shameless Liverpool FC, their manager Kenny Dalglish and the racist football player Luis Suarez have brought more needless attention the the “race row” between Liverpool FC and Manchester United.

After doing all the talking this week about the incident back in October and then saying that it is over and that Suarez would shake Evra’s hand, we all witnessed something we did not want to see. Evra extended his hand BUT SUAREZ REFUSED TO SHAKE EVRA’S HAND!

What next? Is this the way it is going to be for every Liverpool v Man United game? Will the FA abandon the pre-game formalities?

Merseyside police arrest a 20-year-old Aintree man on suspicion of racial abuse

Liverpool will impose a lifetime ban on any supporter found to have racially insulted the Oldham Athletic defender Tom Adeyemi. The club have been investigating an incident at Anfield with Merseyside police, who said on Saturday night they had arrested a 20-year-old Aintree man on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence.

The man was being questioned by officers after Adeyemi was reduced to tears in the 80th minute of Oldham’s 5–1 defeat in the FA Cup on Friday. Liverpool, who have come in for fierce criticism over their handling of Luis Suárez’s eight-match ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra, have been swift to act after Adeyemi’s alleged confrontation with a fan at the front of the Kop. Liverpool FC involved in another race incident

What do you expect from certain supporters of Liverpool Football Club when they listen and watch as the manager and administration of the club spew shocking allegations and incendiary remarks at Patrice Evra, the FA and the independent panel that charged Luis Suarez with racial abuse? You expect some of them to behave as if nothing was wrong with what Suarez did.

If you take the view – as Liverpool FC did – that referring to the color of a person’s skin in a heated environment is OK then it comes as no surprise that one or more supporters at the match between Liverpool and Oldham took a cue from the club and racially insulted a black player with the words “You f–king black bastard.”

Oldham Athletic defender Tom Adeyemi alleged that he was racially abused twice by a supporter during the FA Cup match at Anfield on Friday January 6th.

Witnesses reported seeing two fans wearing Luis Suárez T-shirts – similar to those worn by Liverpool players at Wigan last month, after the Uruguayan was found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra – confronting Adeyemi. A witness who gave evidence to Liverpool officials and the police said: “I was to the right of the Kop and the No11 turned to walk away after a tackle. I heard a single voice shout, ‘You fucking black bastard.’ He spun round with shock on his face and started pointing at the crowd, from where the shout had come.” (SOURCE: Guardian.co.uk)

The club’s defiant attitude and their insistence that Suarez did nothing wrong because it’s ok to call someone “negro” in Uruguay is widely viewed as shameful and unfortunate. The FA should come down hard on Liverpool FC because it is very clear that LIVERPOOL AND ITS SUPPORTERS TAKE THIS MATTER VERY LIGHTLY!
